Product Description
- The PowerFast II wood construction screw is ideally suited for connecting parts made of solid wood, glulam, cross laminated timber, laminated veneer lumber, wood-based panels, etc.. It is used in load-bearing wood structures as well as for connections of metal parts to wood, such as metal fittings, angles, beam shoes and other metal and wood connections.
- The PowerFast II wood construction screw is electrogalvanized and blue passivated. It has a partial thread and a stepped countersunk head with an inner star mount. Like the normal countersunk head, the stepped countersunk head can be countersunk easily and flush with the surface. Due to the large head diameter, it has the additional advantage of higher pull-out values. Thanks to its partial thread, the screw enables wooden elements to be pulled tightly together. The screw tip of the FPF II STP has three ribs, which ensure fast biting and pre-milling. The increased thread pitch of the screw significantly reduces the screw-in time. Thanks to the shank milling ribs in combination with the core cutter geometry, the screw-in resistance is noticeably reduced.
