Product Description
- The UX universal plug and screw is suitable for the following applications: pictures, lights, skirting boards, lightweight wall units, towel rails, mirror cabinets, curtain rails, washstand fixings, TV consoles and sanitary, heating and air conditioning fixings.
- It is suitable for the following building materials such as concrete, plasterboard and gypsum fiber boards, vertically perforated bricks, hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete, hollow ceilings made of brick and concrete, perforated sand-lime brick, solid sand-lime brick, natural stone, aerated concrete, chipboard, solid plasterboard, solid brick made of lightweight concrete and solid brick.
- The packaging already contains screws with the correct diameter and length. This saves searching and guarantees that the screw fits the plug perfectly.
- The angled connecting bars of the UX ensure optimum screw guidance. Sawtooth-shaped anti-rotation locks prevent rotation in the drill hole. This ensures the greatest possible installation safety.
- The required screw length is calculated from the dowel length + attachment part thickness + 1 x screw diameter. For panel building materials, the unthreaded part of the screw must not be longer than the attachment part and the UX with edge must be used.
- The edge distance must be at least one dowel length.
