Product Description
- The siphon serves as a cooling section for liquids, gases and vapors during pressure measurement.
- It is used in various sectors, particularly in the chemical industry, process engineering and mechanical engineering, where precise pressure measurements and protection of the measuring devices against high temperatures and pulsations are crucial.
- The siphon is also used in power generation, the oil and gas industry and in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology (HVAC) to ensure reliable pressure measurement and system protection.
- The U-shaped siphon, in accordance with DIN 16282, is optionally made of steel 1.0039, 1.0345 or stainless steel 1.4571 and is equipped with a connection spigot on the pressure tapping side.
- It ensures that the medium cools down to a temperature that is compatible with the pressure gauge and protects it from pulsation of the medium.
- The siphon forms condensate, which prevents hot medium from entering the pressure gauge.
- Before commissioning the pressure line, cooling sealing liquid should be filled into the siphon.
- Material - steel 1.0039, 1.0345 or stainless steel 1.4571
