Product Description
- Thanks to its length, the PIG® Water Activated Flood Barrier is ideal for stopping water in front of entrances, garages and harbor gates, for example. The 1.5 m long sandbag replacement can be placed in front of a single-door entrance to prevent floodwater from entering. Placing several barriers together provides even better protection.
- The PIG® Water Activated Flood Barrier has a polypropylene shell and a highly absorbent polymer (SAP) filler. It swells on contact with water and transforms into a highly absorbent, long barrier with great coverage, providing quick and easy protection against flooding. The flood barriers are low weight, compact and easy to handle prior to activation, unlike regular sandbags which are heavy, messy and labor intensive. The wedge shape prevents barriers from rolling away.
