- The detectable SteriPlast® scoop made of blue polystyrene is produced in the class 7 (10,000) clean room and individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilized by gamma rays.
- In addition to the blue color, these samplers have a special additive in the material that makes them visible in metal detectors or by X-rays.
- This means that the shovel can be tracked using a color scanner, metal detector or X-rays.
