Product Description
- The cutting wheel is an abrasive designed for demanding cutting tasks and enables the hot and cold cutting of profiles, tubes and solid material from all steel and cast grades, non-ferrous metal alloys and special alloys
- It is particularly suitable for separation tasks that require high lateral stability and is used with powerful stationary cut-off machines
- The separation of cooled rolled and forged pieces in the hot cutting line is possible, also suitable for materials that are not or heavily säg- or flame-cut
- straight cutting disc of the PFERD Performance Line SG-ELASTIC with two outer fabrics
- It is available in a soft or medium-hard version and has a very long service life and a very high lateral stability
- Thanks to the smooth parting surface and the clear cut pattern during cold cutting, reworking is not necessary
- the cutting wheel has a self-sharpening effect, whereby the quality of cut is consistently high over the total consumption of the disc
- the noise level during hot cutting is lower with 85 to 95 dBA than with hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
- for safety reasons, the max. permissible speed can not be exceeded
