Product Description
- The universal 3D probe is a very precise and versatile measuring device for milling and eroding machines (insulated probe insert).
- Universal 3D push-button
- The universal 3D probe is clamped into the milling spindle or countersink head and enables the spindle axis to be positioned precisely on workpiece or fixture edges. This allows workpiece zero points to be set quickly and easily and length measurements to be carried out. The probing direction is arbitrary (X-, Y-, Z-axis). The dial gauge always moves in the same direction and indicates the distance between the spindle axis and the workpiece edge. As soon as the display is at zero, the spindle axis is exactly at the edge of the workpiece. Right away, without long trial and error, without calculation, without sign problems. This reduces ancillary costs, increases productivity and reduces the workload on employees.
- The button insert can be changed without tools. Additional safety is provided by the increased overtravel distance in conjunction with the proven predetermined breaking point in the button insert.
- For maximum measuring accuracy, all universal 3D sensors are individually measured and calibrated during installation.
