Product Description
- The safety coupling is ideal for applications with high air requirements and robust operating conditions. However, it is not suitable for direct mounting on pulsating tools, which is why the use of vibration dampers in accordance with ISO 6150, § 7.1, is recommended. Typical areas of application are pneumatics, mechanical and plant engineering, the manufacturing industry, workshops, the automotive sector and mining, where high safety standards and efficient work processes are essential.
- The high-quality, robust and durable quick-release coupling can be operated with just one hand and its safety design offers particularly high flow rates with a low pressure drop. Its fully automatic release takes place in two stages, whereby the coupling is vented before disconnection so that the coupling plug is only released when the residual pressure falls below 0.3 bar. This avoids the dangerous "whiplash effect", which virtually eliminates the risk of injury to operating personnel. The coupling complies with the ISO standard DIN EN ISO 4414.
