Product Description
- The plug-in coupling of the ST-3FF series is ideally suited for connecting hoses and pipelines in the fields of agriculture, the construction industry, offshore applications (oil & gas) as well as vehicle and road construction.
- The plug-in coupling is made of galvanized steel and has an SAE internal thread. The seal is made of polyurethane and Teflon.
- The ST-3FF series is characterized by higher operating pressures than conventional series according to ISO 16028 and a pulse resistance of up to one million cycles in the coupled state.
- During the coupling process, thanks to a specially designed flat valve, no air is trapped in the hydraulic system and oil loss is prevented. The safety lock prevents unintentional disconnection.
- The ST-3FF series can be coupled under residual pressure on the unpressurized opposite side (ST-FF, VC-FF, ST-2FSI series). The level of the residual pressure must not exceed the maximum operating pressure of the respective component. Furthermore, the opposite side should be depressurized and open to the tank during use. Any residual pressure on the opposite side would result in an increased coupling force.
