Product Description
- PIG® Observation Well Sump Skimmer is ideal for absorbing oil in vessels containing aqueous liquids, such as sumps or tanks. The floating sump skimmer is simply lowered into an observation well to absorb oil without taking up water. The Sump Skimmer is suitable for use indoors or outdoors. It is used, for example, for parking lots, bodies of water, waste water tanks, drains and acid baths.
- The spunbond polypropylene top cover is UV resistant for up to 12 months and meets ANSI and MIL specifications for static dissipation. The polypropylene loop can be attached to the rope (not included) for easy lowering and retrieval. The bright white color makes the absorbed oil easily visible and the degree of saturation is clearly indicated. The Sump Skinner can be incinerated after use to reduce waste or add fuel. The sump skinner is water repellent. It absorbs oil but repels water. It is also lightweight and easy to carry, eliminating the need to lift bulky and heavy containers.
