Product Description
- When activated, the PIG® water-activated flood bags provide excellent flood protection for entrances.
- The PIG® water-activated flood bags have a polypropylene shell and a filler made of highly absorbent polymer (SAP). The super-absorbent flat bags swell on contact with water and form a strong, heavy barrier that quickly contains and diverts flooding. By stacking the bags, which replace sandbags, a dam wall can be created as flood protection in areas at risk of flooding. The bags can be stacked and moved in up to three layers, and higher dam walls are also possible with a pyramid configuration. The water-activated flood bags are lightweight, compact and easy to handle prior to activation, unlike regular sandbags which are heavy, messy and labor intensive.
