Product Description
- The PIG® Essentials Oil-Only Oil Barrier is suitable for long-term use on water. It acts as a containment system large enough to clean up spills of almost any size.
- The PIG® Essentials Oil-Only oil barrier is filled with a highly absorbent filling and surrounded by a tear-resistant nylon net. The barrier will not sink even if it is completely saturated with oil. The polypropylene filling is hydrophobic. It repels water (and floats on it) but absorbs oils and other hydrocarbons. The nylon line and its tear-resistant design provide extra strength when laying out and pulling in. The barriers are equipped with clamps and connecting rings, making it easy and efficient to connect the booms together. The integrated connectors can be used to create a containment system large enough to clear spills of almost any size. The white color makes it easy to see when the absorbent is fully saturated. This prevents the oil barrier from being thrown away prematurely and saves money.
