  • PFERD CAST EDGE mounted points are particularly suitable for use on edges and for grinding out sand inclusions and mineralization on gray and nodular cast iron in conjunction with high cutting speeds.
Application
  • The ZY cylinder shape is ideal for grinding bores, radii and contours.
  • The CAST EDGE mounted point is particularly dimensionally stable due to its high bond content.
  • Thanks to the high edge stability, the pins can also be used economically on low-speed tool drives.
  • CAST EDGE mounted points achieve their best performance at a cutting speed of 30 to 50 m / s.
