Product Description
- PFERD fan wheels are used for aggressive grinding with maximum stock removal on hard, poorly heat-conducting materials.
- The fan wheels are used for leveling, deburring, surface and weld seam processing, structuring and gradual fine grinding.
- With fan wheels, the abrasive lamellae are arranged in a fan-shaped manner around the axis of the tool.
- Thanks to their flexibility, they adapt ideally to the contours of the workpiece.
- The abrasive grain is embedded in a synthetic resin bond on the tensile, flexible fabric backing.
- The constant maximum performance is achieved by the self-sharpening ceramic grain.
- Active abrasive additives in the base achieve a significantly higher stock removal rate, prevent clogging and cause cooler sanding.
- A special clamping system enables frontal use very close to edges and at angles.
- A suitable grinding oil must be used for the material in order to significantly increase the service life and grinding performance of the tools.
- For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 15–30 m / s.
- For security reasons, the max. permissible speed are not exceeded.
