Product Description
- The diamond abrasive is used when materials cannot be processed with conventional abrasives such as corundum or silicon carbide.
- In addition, it is the more economical solution for many applications.
- Diamant has established itself as a problem solver in numerous sectors such as the automotive industry and suppliers, mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, tool and mold construction, tool industry, ceramics processing industry, plastics processing (GRP / CFRP), foundries (gray and nodular cast iron).
- Diamond is the hardest naturally occurring solid, it consists of pure carbon in a crystalline arrangement.
- Rotating diamond tools are not suitable for machining steel due to their high chemical wear.
- Diamond is suitable for processing thermosetting plastics, ferrite (magnetic material), glass, graphite and electro-carbon, gray and nodular cast iron, hard metal, nickel or titanium-based superalloys, technical ceramics and wear protection layers (spray-on and weld-on alloys).
- The mounted points can be used for dry and wet grinding.
- Diamond grit is significantly harder and its cutting edges are very resistant to dulling.
- Diamond tools have a very long service life.
- The KT cup shape is ideal for processing profiles, flat surfaces and shoulders without damaging the cylinder surface.
