Product Description
- The air filter is an important component in industrial compressed air treatment.
- The EL-M filter element is suitable for microfiltration of aerosols, water, oil and solid particles.
- To achieve optimum air purity, the filter media must be replaced regularly.
- The filter element is equipped with an upper and a lower end cap. The upper end cap ensures secure, compact retention of the filter media and is equipped with a thread and an O-ring for secure sealing between the filter head and filter element. The lower end cap enables reliable element installation and secure binding of the filter media.
- Inside the filter element is a stainless steel mesh that supports and stabilizes the filtration media.
- There is a fleece layer on the stainless steel mesh for mechanical protection of the filter media.
- The coalescence filter medium lies on the fleece layer, which ensures the separation of oil and water aerosols.
- The filter medium made of glass fiber fabric lying on the coalescer filter medium is pleated, which provides a significantly larger filter surface and a lower pressure drop.
- Another stainless steel mesh is attached to the glass fiber filter medium for additional stability of the filter element.
- The EL-P filter element also has an outer drainage layer that allows oil and water to drain to the lower filter sections.
