Product Description
- The cutting disc is an abrasive designed for demanding separation tasks and enables the hot and cold cutting of profiles, tubes and solid stainless steel
- It is particularly suitable for separation tasks requiring high lateral stability and is used with high-performance stationary cut-off machines
- Also suitable for materials that are not or heavily säg- or flame-cut
- PFERD performance line SG-ELASTIC soft and straight cutting disc with two outer fabrics
- The abrasive corundum is made without chlorine-, sulfur- and iron-containing fillers
- It has a very long service life and a high lateral stability
- thanks to the smooth parting surface and the clear cut pattern during cold cutting, reworking is not necessary
- the cutting disc has a self-sharpening effect, whereby the quality of cut is consistently high over the total consumption of the disc
- the noise level during hot cutting is lower with 85 to 95 dBA than with hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
- for safety reasons, the max. permissible speed can not be exceeded
